Orange County, New York Warrants Search
Warrant information is not treated the same way as most court records in New York. The New York Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) applies to records held by law-enforcement agencies, but some records may be withheld when disclosure could interfere with an investigation or law-enforcement activity. Search warrants are covered separately under CPL Article 690 and are returned to the issuing court after execution. There is no single statewide database for warrant searches, so where to look depends on the court or agency that handled the warrant.
